Quick Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. salt
1 c. warm water
4 c. flour
1/4 c. shortening
1 pkg. yeast (which has been dissolved in 1/4 cup warm water)
Preparation

Beat egg; add sugar, shortening, yeast, salt and flour (add flour slowly).
Let rise in greased pan until double in bulk. Make into rolls; let rise again.
Gently oil tops of rolls before they are put in oven to bake.
After 25 minutes, watch carefully. Take out when browned as desired.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven approximately 25 to 30 minutes.
May oil with butter again.
