Elbert'S 9 Day Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chopped onion
    1 large head cabbage, chopped
    1/2 c. carrots, shredded
    1 bell pepper
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. vegetable oil
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Bring to a boil.
    Pour over other ingredients.
    Let stand 4 hours before serving.
