Easy Chicken Cacciatore - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 frying chicken, cut up
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 clove garlic
    1 tsp. oregano, crumbled
    salt and pepper
    1 to 1 1/2 c. mushrooms, sliced
    1 can stewed tomatoes (#303 can)
Preparation
    Brown chicken in olive oil with garlic.
    Before turning chicken, sprinkle with oregano, salt and pepper.
    Remove garlic. Add mushrooms; brown lightly.
    Add stewed tomatoes; cover.
    Simmer 30 minutes; uncover.
    Continue cooking until sauce is reduced to desired consistency and chicken is very tender.
    Serve with spaghetti.
    Serves 5 to 6.
