Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
2 c. milk
3 egg yolks (save whites for meringue)
3 level Tbsp. flour
pinch of salt
2 Tbsp. margarine
1 c. coconut
1 tsp. vanilla
pie crust, baked
Preparation

Beat
the
3 egg yolks well.
Add sugar, flour, 1/2 cup milk and a pinch of salt.
Mix.\tAdd to 1 1/2 cups of milk in double boiler.
Add margarine.
Boil custard until thickened. Add coconut
and vanilla.
Pour in baked pie crust.
Top with meringue.
