County Potato And Ham Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. peeled potatoes, cut up
1/2 c. sliced celery
1 c. chopped onions
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1 1/2 c. water
2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 c. cooked ham, cut up
1/2 c. to 1 c. shredded cheese
Preparation

In a large saucepan, combine potatoes, celery, onion, bouillon and water. Cover and cook on medium heat for 20 minutes until potatoes are almost tender. Combine milk, flour, salt and pepper. Slowly add to potatoes along with ham. Cook, stirring, until thickened, about five minutes. Add cheese and stir until melted. Serve hot.
