Trish'S 7 Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce
    1 c. celery, chopped coarsely
    1 c. bell pepper, chopped coarsely
    1/4 red onion, chopped coarsely
    1 (10 oz.) frozen green peas, thawed (may use more)
    thinly sliced radishes
    2 cans water chestnuts
    1/2 c. Miracle Whip salad dressing
    8 strips bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
    1 1/2 to 2 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Arrange vegetables in layers.
    Do not toss.
    Spread Miracle Whip salad dressing on top.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
    Sprinkle bacon on top before serving.
