Feathery Cheesecake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
4 eggs, separated
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. grated lemon rind
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
2 graham cracker pie shells
Preparation

Beat 1/2 cup butter with cream cheese and egg yolks until smooth and creamy.
Add sugar, cornstarch, baking powder, lemon rind, lemon juice and vanilla.
Mix until well blended.
Beat egg whites with salt until soft peaks form.
Fold egg whites into creamed mixture and turn into pie shells.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes or until center feels firm to the touch.
If desired, fill with pie filling of your choice.
