Canned Okra - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. sliced okra
    4 Tbsp. salt
    8 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/2 gal. water
Preparation
    Put salt, vinegar and water in large pan and boil for 1 minute.
    Add okra and cook until okra changes color.
    Set off the stove and dip the okra into hot canning jars with a slotted spoon. Seal.
