Buttermilk Pancakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice flour or all-purpose
    1/4 c. rice bran
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 c. low-fat buttermilk
    3 egg whites, beaten
    1 tsp. sugar
    nonstick cooking spray
    fresh fruit or reduced calorie syrup
Preparation
    Sift together flour, bran, sugar, baking powder and baking soda into a large bowl.
    Combine buttermilk and egg whites in a small bowl.
    Add to flour mixture; stir until smooth.
    Pour 1/4 cup batter on hot griddle coated with cooking spray.
    Over medium heat, pour batter to make 6-inch cakes; brown and turn over to brown on opposite side.
    Serve with fresh fruit, sugar or syrup.
