Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    4 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
    1 c. or more chopped pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
    dash of salt
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell (homemade or frozen)
Preparation
    Combine first 7 ingredients, making sure to add melted butter last so that if it is hot, it will not cook eggs.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Center of pie should shake slightly when it is done but it will firm up as it cools.
