Ginger Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

7 lb. cukes
2 c. lime
3 gal. water
1/2 c. alum
1/2 c. ginger
Preparation
-
Cover cucumbers and soak 24 hours.
Wash good; soak 1 hour in alum and 1 gallon water; rinse.
Soak 6 hours in 1 gallon water and ginger; drain.
Do not rinse.
