Pecan Sandies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter, softened
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. ???
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream sugar with softened butter; mix in other ingredients and mix well.
    Chill at least 2 hours.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes. Let cool a little, then roll in confectioners sugar.
