Homemade Bisquick - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 lb. self-rising flour
2 Tbsp. cream of tartar
3 1/2 c. dry milk
1/4 to 1/2 c. sugar
4 1/2 c. shortening
Preparation

Using large container, mix all ingredients together.
Blend shortening into dry mixture until the texture of coarse meal. Store in covered container at room temperature.
Makes 25 cups. Will keep 4 to 6 months.
