Okra And Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. okra, cut into 1/2-inch slices
    1 1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
    2 Tbsp. oleo
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. flour
    3 medium tomatoes, peeled and coarsely chopped
Preparation
    Wash pods. Cut off stems.
    Cook, covered, in small amount of boiling salted water, 8 to 15 minutes.
    Cook onion and green pepper in oleo until tender, but not brown.
    Stir in sugar, flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt and dash of pepper.
    Add tomatoes. Cook and stir until slightly thickened and bubbly. Add cooked okra.
    Heat through.
    Yields 6 servings.
