West Indian Fish Cakes(By Sonja Jackson) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. salted cod fish (boneless), soak in plain water overnight or at least 6 hours
    1 small onion, diced fine
    1/2 green or sweet pepper, diced fine
    1/2 tsp. thyme leaves
    1/2 tsp. parsley leaves
    1 tsp. paprika
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 hot red pepper, finely chopped
    1 small white potato, cooked
    1 1/2 c. white flour
    1 tsp. salt or less
Preparation
    Mash white potato in mixing bowl (large).
    Drain water from cod fish and stir into fine pieces.
    Add all other ingredients to bowl. Add 2 cups of cold water.
    Mix.
