Baked Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine (2 sticks)
    2 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    7 qt. popped popcorn
Preparation
    Melt margarine and stir in brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Boil, without stirring, for 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla. Gradually pour over popped corn, mixing well.
    Turn into a large baking pan (I use large broiler pan lined with foil).
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
    Remove from oven and cool completely.
    Break apart.
