Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 stick oleo
1/2 c. shortening
5 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. buttermilk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. pecans chopped
2 c. coconut
Preparation

Cream sugar, ole, and shortening.
Add egg yolks one at a time and mix well.
Add vanilla.
Mix together flour, soda, and salt add to mixture.
Alternating with buttermilk, add chopped pecans and coconut.
Beat egg whites and fold in last.
Bake in four 8-inch pans at 350 for 30 minutes.
