Pommes Au Four(Potatoes Au Gratin, French Way) - cooking recipe

2 tsp. instant beef broth
2 lb. potatoes
3/4 c. light cream
butter
1 clove garlic
1 c. grated Swiss cheese
Preparation

Pare potatoes; slice thinly and cook in small amount of salted water until tender. Warm cream on low heat and add instant beef broth and 1 clove crushed garlic. Place layer of potatoes in buttered 9 x 13-inch casserole and cover with 1/2 of cream mixture. Repeat layers and top with cheese. Bake in 400\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes or until cheese is golden. Serves 4 to 6.
