California Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. cubed carrots
    2 c. cubed potatoes
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 can sweet peas
    cubed, cooked chicken
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. butter
    pepper to taste
    bread crumbs
Preparation
    In a saucepan, put carrots and onions with water and boil until carrots are tender (15 minutes).
    Add cubed potatoes and cook until potatoes are partially cooked.
    Make a white sauce with flour, butter and milk.
    When thick add cooked chicken.
    Drain carrots, onions and potatoes.
    Alternate vegetable mixture with white sauce/chicken mixture.
    Cover with rest of sauce.
    Sprinkle with bread crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1/2 hour.
