Egg Drop Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. chicken stock
1 1/2 tsp. water
3/4 tsp. cornstarch
dash of ground pepper
1 tsp. dry sherry
2 green onions, diced
2 tsp. soy sauce, diluted with 1 Tbsp. water
2 egg whites, lightly beaten
Preparation

Bring stock to a slow boil.
Mix water and cornstarch in a small bowl.
Stir into stock and simmer for 2 minutes.
Add pepper, sherry, onion and soy sauce mixture.
Remove from heat and slowly add in egg whites.
Let stand 1 minute, then serve.
Makes 2 servings.
