Vidalia Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium Vidalia onions
    3/4 stick oleo
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. milk
    12 to 14 saltine crackers, crushed
    salt and pepper
    2 eggs
    grated cheese
Preparation
    Melt oleo and saute onions until tender.
    Butter a casserole dish and line with crackers.
    Add onions and soup in layers until full.
    Beat eggs and add milk, salt and pepper.
    Pour over top. Sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until bubbly.
