Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 (8 1/2 oz.) can sliced pineapple, drained
    maraschino cherries
    walnut or pecan halves
    1 1/2 c. Bisquick
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 c. cold water or milk
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Melt
    butter over low heat in 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking
    pan.
    Sprinkle
    with
    brown\tsugar.\tArrange pineapple, cherries
    and
    nuts
    over
    sugar.
    Blend
    Bisquick, granulated sugar, egg,
    water,
    shortening\tand vanilla on low speed 1/2 minute, scraping bowl.
    Beat 4 minutes medium speed. Pour over fruit in pan.
    Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until wooden pick comes out
    clean.
    Invert
    at\tonce
    onto
    serving plate. Leave pan over cake a few minutes.
