Linda'S Chocolate Meringue - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 egg whites at room temperature
1 c. sugar
6 sq. (1 oz. each) unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease 2 large cookie sheets.
Set aside.
In a small mixer bowl, beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry.
Add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, and continue beating at high speed until smooth and glossy and sugar is dissolved. Fold in chocolate and vanilla.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets.
Bake 15 minutes.
Remove to wire racks to cool. Do not freeze.
Makes 5 dozen, 25 calories each.
