Monterey Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raw rice
    1 (7 oz.) can whole green chilies
    4 medium zucchini, parboiled and sliced 1/4 thick
    2 large tomatoes, sliced
    1 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
    2 c. sour cream
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 tsp. chopped green pepper (optional) and green onion
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Preparation
    Cook rice; place in buttered 13 x 9-inch casserole dish. Spread chilies and half of cheese; layer zucchini slices, then tomato slices.
    Mix sour cream with rest of ingredients; pour over tomatoes.
    Top with remaining cheese.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes; longer if it has been refrigerated.
