Vegetable Drink - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 qt. celery
2 to 4 red beets
6 carrots
4 onions
juice plus grated rind of 3 lemons
2 gal. tomato juice
salt to taste
Preparation

Cook the celery, beets, carrots and onions separately until they are very soft.
Mash them very fine.
Strain and add the lemon juice and rind and tomato juice.
Add salt to taste, then put into jars and cook for 10 minutes.
