Spaghetti Chop Chop - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium green pepper
    2 c. hot cooked spaghetti
    1 (16 oz.) can Chinese vegetables, drained
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of shrimp soup
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
    1 (4 1/2 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
    3/4 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Cook and stir ground beef until light brown.
    Drain.
    Slice 3 rings from green pepper.
    Reserve for garnish.
    Chop remaining green pepper.
    Stir pepper and remaining ingredients, except cheese, into meat.
    Pour into ungreased 2-quart casserole.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
    Top with green pepper rings; bake 5 minutes more.
