Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can large tomatoes, cut up
    1 green pepper, chopped in 1 inch slices
    1 small onion, chopped in 1 inch strips
    1 c. rice
    1 c. Cheddar cheese
    6 strips bacon, lightly cooked and cut into 1 inch pieces
Preparation
    Place all ingredients in greased casserole dish.
    Add 1 to 1 1/2 cups water.
    Bake uncovered in 350\u00b0 oven until bacon looks done.
    Stir occasionally and add more water if needed.
    Should bake at least 1 hour.
