Oysters In A Blanket - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 dozen large oysters
1 dozen thin slices bacon
pepper and lemon juice

Preparation

Pick over the oysters carefully. Pat dry and roll in a slice of bacon. Fasten with a small skewer. Cook in a hot chafing dish until bacon is crisp. Season and serve very hot. Serves 2.
