Monroeville Country Club Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 egg, separated
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg yolk and flour, mixed with cinnamon.
    Mix well.
    Spread this very stiff batter with a spatula onto cookie sheet.
    Glaze dough with beaten egg white.
    Sprinkle with nuts.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Cut into bars while warm.
