Judge Roy Bean'S Family'S 100 Year Old Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. real butter (not oleo)
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
6 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract
dash of salt
Preparation

Beat butter until very light and fluffy; a little at a time, add sugar, flour and eggs, one at a time, beating well after adding each.
After adding last egg, beat 5 minutes and then add flavorings.
The secret to a good pound cake is in the beating. Bake 1 hour at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 in greased and floured tube pan.
