Quick And Easy Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar, divided (1/2 and 1/2)
    1/4 c. margarine or oil
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. berries or fruit
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Beat 1/2 cup sugar and margarine until smooth. Add next 5 ingredients and beat until smooth. Spray a 2-quart dish with Pam; spread batter in dish. Put berries or fruit over batter. Mix remaining sugar and cinnamon together and sprinkle over fruit. Pour water over top. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
