Surprise Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    20 Ritz crackers
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    pinch of salt
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff. Gradually add sugar to egg whites, then vanilla, salt and baking powder. Fold in crackers and nuts. Pour into a buttered pie pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350\u00b0. Cool and top with whipped cream.
