Curry Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. chicken, cut up
    1/2 tsp. each: salt and pepper
    1/2 c. butter
    2 small onions, finely chopped
    2 green apples, peeled and diced
    3 Tbsp. curry powder
    4 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. chicken broth
Preparation
    Season chicken with salt and pepper.
    Brown in melted butter; remove from pan.
    Add onions and apples; saute until onions are tender.
    Sprinkle with curry powder and flour.
    Cook, stirring, for about 2 minutes.
    Stir in broth; bring to a boil.
    Add chicken; cover and cook over low heat for 40 minutes, or until tender.
    If sauce is too thick, add more broth.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
