Baked Pork Chops With Lima Beans(Mama'S Favorite) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 pork chops
    2 (15 oz.) cans dried lima beans
    1 c. water
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Fast-fry chops, browning lightly on each side.
    Mix all other ingredients.
    Pour into large casserole or 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Lay chops on top and bake at 375\u00b0 for about 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes.
    Do not let beans cook dry.
    Turn chops after 1/2 hour (or more, if necessary).
    Serve with tossed green salad and hot biscuits!
