*Mititei("Hamburg Sausage") - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef or lamb
    6 cloves garlic, minced
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. oregano
    juice of 1 lemon
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients well.
    Set in refrigerator for a few hours.
    Roll 1/3 cup into sausage shape.
    Cook over a hot fire on an outside grill or broil in oven.
    Makes 20 pieces.
