Plain Layer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and gradually add sugar.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Sift flour, measure and sift again with baking powder and salt. Add flour and milk alternately. Add vanilla. Bake in 2 layer pans at 375\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
