Oven Hash Browns - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 medium potatoes
4 c. water
1/2 c. frozen egg substitute, thawed
1/2 c. skim milk
1/2 tsp. dried whole thyme
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. ground pepper
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika
Preparation

Peel and shred potatoes.
Transfer to a bowl and cover with water.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Remove 1/4 cup of water from potatoes.
Place in a small saucepan with milk.
Cook just until hot.
Remove from heat and set aside.
Combine egg substitute, thyme, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
Beat well.
Gradually add milk mixture, beating constantly.
Drain potatoes and press out excess liquid with paper towels.
