Hungarian Goulash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. shortening
    4 lb. beef, cut into cubes
    2 c. minced onion
    1 Tbsp. dry mustard
    3 tsp. paprika
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    4 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    3 tsp. cider vinegar
    1 1/2 c. ketchup
    4 c. water
    3/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Melt shortening in pan. Brown meat on all sides. Stir in onion. Combine mustard, paprika, salt and sugar. Combine Worcestershire, vinegar, ketchup and 3 cups of water. Add to the mustard mixture. Add combined ingredients to meat. Blend. Cover. Reduce heat. Cook 2 1/2 hours or until meat is very tender. Stir occasionally. Blend flour with remaining water. Add to meat mixture. Stir until thickened. Serve over cooked noodles. Serves 14 to 16.
