Zucchini Parmesan - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean hamburger and 1 lb. Italian sausage (sweet, not hot) or all sausage or all hamburger
    4 large zucchini, sliced thinly
    2 large white onions, sliced in rings
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
    1 can tomato sauce (large)
    1 triangle fresh Parmesan cheese, grated
Preparation
    Brown meat and sausage.
    Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste. Drain well.
    In greased casserole dish, alternate layers, starting with meat sausage, zucchini, mushrooms, onions and cheese, ending with cheese on the final top layer.
    Pour tomato sauce over all, but don't use all (3/4 of a large can). Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour, uncovered.
    You can also substitute summer squash or eggplant for the zucchini.
