Beef Casserole Italino - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef or 1 lb. ground turkey
    1/2 c. chopped yellow onion
    2 cans (8 oz. each) tomato sauce
    1 tsp. parsley flakes
    1 tsp. leaf basil
    1/2 tsp. leaf oregano
    1/2 tsp. salt, divided
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 c. Ricotta cheese
    2 pkg. (10 oz. each) frozen chopped spinach
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese slices
Preparation
    Brown beef or turkey and onion; drain off fat.
    Stir in tomato sauce, parsley, oregano, basil, 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper. Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile, combine thawed and drained spinach, Ricotta cheese and remaining salt.
