Steak And Rice Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. beef round steak
    1 1/2 tsp. vegetable oil
    2 onions, chopped
    1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
    1/2 c. dry sherry
    3 c. hot cooked rice
Preparation
    Cut steak into thin strips.
    Brown meat in oil.
    Add chopped onions; saute until tender.
    Blend soup, garlic salt, sherry and liquid from mushrooms.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 hour. Serve over rice.
    Serves six.
