Ingredients

1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 bottle butterscotch caramel ice cream topping
1 large container whipped topping
3 Heath or Butterfinger candy bars (optional)
Preparation

Prepare cake mix and bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
When done, remove from oven and while hot, poke holes in cake with the end of a wooden spoon.
Pour the milk and the caramel topping into the holes and over the cake.
Let cool and then spread on the whipped topping.
Sprinkle crushed candy bars on top, if desired, and refrigerate.
This cake can be made a day ahead.
