Party Baked Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lean pork chops
    4 thin slices onion
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1 can whole tomatoes
    salt and pepper
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Preparation
    Season chops on both sides and brown in lightly greased skillet.
    Remove to baking dish; top each chop with onion, 1/4 of the raw rice and whole tomatoes.
    Add remaining tomatoes and juice and tomato sauce around chops.
    Salt lightly.
    Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
