Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. Pet milk
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 stick butter
    3 c. whole pecans
Preparation
    Mix all together.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes.
    Check for soft ball stage; cook up to 3 minutes more if not up to soft ball stage.
    Remove from heat and beat with spoon until it loses its glossy look.
    Drop onto wax paper by spoonfuls.
