Grandma'S Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. hamburger or ground turkey
    2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans
    1 (46 fluid oz.) tall can tomato juice
    2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans tomato soup
    2 celery stalks, diced
    1 onion, diced
    3 tsp. chili powder
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    salt and pepper (optional)
Preparation
    Brown hamburger and drain.
    Add kidney beans, juice and all. (If your family is not crazy about kidney beans, you should mash or puree them.)
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Cook slowly for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
