Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. meal
1 c. cream-style corn
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. oil
2 eggs
2 chopped jalapeno peppers
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. grated cheese
Preparation

Mix all ingredients together well in a large bowl.
Grease a large deep skillet.
Pour 1/2 of batter into the skillet. Sprinkle 1 cup grated cheese; then top with remaining batter. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
