Black Bean Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. dried black beans
4 Tbsp. diced oregano
2 Tbsp. tomato paste
1/2 c. cilantro, chopped
1/8 tsp. black pepper
4 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. cumin
8 tsp. New Mexico chili powder
1/4 medium red onion, diced
1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. kosher salt
5 tsp. processed garlic
Preparation

Cover beans in 2-inches of water and soak overnight.
Drain. Rinse.
Add all other ingredients, except sour cream.
Add just enough water to cover by 1-inch.
Bring beans to a low simmer for 2 hours or until tender.
Do not boil.
