Zucchini Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. zucchini, sliced 1/2-inch thick
    1 large onion, thinly sliced
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1/3 c. milk
    5 oz. Cheddar cheese, sliced
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    2 Tbsp. melted butter or margarine
Preparation
    Cook zucchini and onion together until almost done; drain very well.
    Cook rice as directed; reserve.
    Place zucchini mixture in buttered 9 1/2 inch shallow casserole.
    Sprinkle cooked rice on top.
    Mix soup and milk, then pour over top of rice.
    Top with cheese slices.
    Mix crumbs and melted butter; sprinkle over cheese. Place casserole in pan of water.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
