Fudge Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cocoa (heaping)
    2 Tbsp. butter
    dash of salt
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    1 tsp. vanilla, added later
Preparation
    Mix these in heavy pan.
    Cook at least 5 minutes.
    No need to stir constantly.
    Add vanilla.
    (If doubling, use full can of evaporated milk.)
    Saves well in the refrigerator.
    Delicious over ice cream.
