Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 c. scalded milk
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
    1 egg, beaten
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    5 to 6 c. plain flour
    2 pkg. yeast
Preparation
    Mix milk, shortening, sugar and salt.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Mix yeast in warm water.
    Stir and mix with milk, egg and half of flour.
    Mix well.
    Add rest of flour.
    Turn out on floured board and knead about 10 minutes until smooth.
    Place dough in warm greased bowl.
    Brush with melted butter. Cover and let rise in warm place for 2 hours or until doubled in size.
    Shape into rolls.
    Cover and let rise until doubled in size, about 1/2 to 3/4 hours.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 20 minutes.
